East Durham United LFC came up against a very strong Rutherford side, resulting in a 5-0 defeat. The score however didn't reflect the way East Durham battled to the end.
Stacey Temple kept things respectable stopping rutherford on form strike force. First half East Durham seemed to be allow Rutherford to control the game, which stopped after half-time when they came out to prove a point and work hard.
Kelly Bell put in another great performance which resulted in her being rewarded with player of the match. Also good performances by Sam Warrington and Jade Outhwaite who never seemed to stop running.
